Es tracta d&#8217;un personatge de ficci\u00f3 creat per <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Friz_Freleng\" target=\"_blank\">Friz Freleng<\/a><\/strong> en principi nom\u00e9s com a part de la cap\u00e7alera de la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula de <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blake_Edwards\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Blake Edwards<\/strong><\/a> del mateix nom. Per\u00f2 l&#8217;\u00e8xit obtingut per aquell film i els posteriors llargmetratges de la saga va acabar per propiciar l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 a la d\u00e8cada dels 80 d&#8217;una s\u00e8rie pr\u00f2pia de dibuixos animats comercialitzada amb el nom de &#8220;The Pink Panter Show&#8221;. La s\u00e8rie respecta els requisits inicials del personatge: mut, elegant, c\u00f2mic i acompanyat sempre per la m\u00fasica del genial compositor <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Henry_Mancini\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Henry Mancini<\/strong><\/a>.
